12/29/2022 0 Comments Cash drawer appSo, it has almost like a phone end on one side and then it'a a standard USB on the other side. On the Logic Controls, you need the special cash drawer cable. On some cash drawers, it's just a standard USB A to B cable. So, step one is to plug in your cash drawer. Those are a different procedure and don't use these drivers as well. If you're using OPOS because you're using Microsoft RMS or Microsoft 2K9, then you need OPOS drivers. You don't have to worry about a different set of drivers. You hook a printer driven cash drawer up to the printer and then when the printer prints it will send the cash drawer signal to the cash drawer. If you are using a printer driven cash drawer then ignore this video because there are no drivers that you need. If you have a different brand of cash drawer you'll need a different driver, but in general, it's going to be the same steps. The steps are going to be pretty much the same, but if you have Windows 7, Windows 8, follow the same steps. So, this also has some generic applications as well, where it works for other USB cash drawers and works for other operating systems. Today we're covering the Cash Drawer, the USB version and connecting it with Windows 10. For this example, we use a cash drawer and Windows 10, but the process will apply to other USB cash drawers and work with other operating systems.
